PGA professional Chris Smeal started the Tour in 2007. “I was coaching 50 or more junior golfers a week and needed somewhere different to send my kids to play,” says Smeal. “Tourna- ments were either not frequent enough or, in some cases, overpriced. So we launched our own tour in San Diego, hosting one two- day ranked tournament per month.” The Future Champions Golf Tour has grown since 2007 and now includes the 36-hole, ranked two-day events of the FCG National Tour and the world famous FCG World Se- ries events that attract players from all over the globe. FCG also prides itself in develop- ing tournament players from the beginner FCGTourOffersTraining Ground forNation’sTop Collegians BYJUNIOR GOLF STAFF Golfers of all ages compete in FCG tournaments FEEL TEMPO & STABILITY When using the Orange Peel and the Orange Whip together, the student gets the experience of feeling both tempo and stability. I like using this combination of Orange Whip golf instruction tools in order to reinforce tempo and functional mobility while at the same time, creating stability in the lower body.
